Course Overview:
Hazardous chemicals and other substances are common in almost all work environments and it is important to be aware of the hazards associated with them. The course explains the potential dangers surrounding hazardous substances and what the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations 2002 (COSHH) require us to do to help protect employees and others within the workplace.
Course Learning Outcomes:
• Gain a better understanding of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations • Identify the forms chemicals can take • Understand the routes of entry chemicals can take • Highlight how chemicals can cause harm • Identify chemical classifications
