At WS Training we offer a wide range of apprenticeships to help people get into work or further their skills. An apprenticeship is a work based qualification aimed at anyone who is over 16 at the start of the academic year, allowing them to earn while they learn and gain the necessary skills and professional competencies in their chosen career.

We offer apprenticeships in Business Services, Engineering, Health and Social Care, IT and Marketing.

A study programme is a programme designed for young people aged 16-24 who have little or no work experience but are motivated to work.

WS Training work with local and national employers to offer quality work experience, equipping learners with the skills needed to begin an apprenticeship or enter the workplace. We currently have two pathways, Business Administration with elements of Customer Service and Introduction to Hair and Beauty.

All our learners who choose to undertake a hairdressing or barbering qualification with us, have the benefit of training in our Academies in Ipswich and Colchester, as well as working within their own salons.

Whether you are at the starting point of your hairdressing career looking for a level 2 qualification or progressing onto level 3 having completed an Intermediate Apprenticeship, there’s a course for all abilities and needs.

We offer pathways for 16-24 year olds who have special educational needs and disabilities. Our aim is to give every student the opportunity to develop their skills in preparation for adulthood and employability. All students access sessions focused around enterprise activities or employability, whereby community projects and work experience are encouraged.

Programmes are tailored to suit the needs of the young people wherever possible and include attending sessions within our friendly and welcoming centre, or off site at one of our partners.
