Course Overview:
This one day course is intended for those employed in a supervisory/team leader/safety representative role who have a responsibility for the Health & Safety of others within the workplace.
Course Objectives:
· Outline the requirements needed by a business to implement Health & Safety management principles and practices
· Explain the supervisors role in respect of Health & Safety at work
· Explain methods of accident prevention and risk management
· Outline the legal, moral and financial aspects of managing Health & Safety at work
· Explain the roles of safety representatives and the importance of proper consultation
· Explain the importance of monitoring and supervising staff with regards Health, Safety and Welfare issues
