Role / Occupation: Waitress/Waiter

Overview:

This role will involve learning how to communicate well with guests and private members, assisting members with food/drinks and learning how to treat guests to reach high levels of customer service.  

  • Meet and greet clients
  • Ensure a high quality of customer service.
  • Serve food/drinks from restaurant and bar
  • Guide members and help assist their needs.

Over time the role will progress to an apprenticeship in Hospitality.

This role needs someone who is good with communication, has an element of common sense and works well with others. Full training will be given in house and could lead to a career in the hospitality industry. 

The role is based in Ipswich Town Centre so please bear this in mind when applying for the role. 

Working hours:- Monday - Friday 8am-4pm for 8 weeks before an outcome is decided. 1 day in college will be included in the week and will be from 9.30am-3pm. 

Start date:- 2nd September 2021

About traineeships:-

A traineeship is a course with work experience that gets you ready for work or an apprenticeship. It can last up to 6 months.
You can apply if you’re:

  • eligible to work in England
  • unemployed and have little or no work experience
  • aged 16 to 24 and qualified below Level 4

You’ll get:

  • a work experience placement
  • help with English and maths (if you need it)

You won’t be paid, but you may be given expenses for things like travel and meals.
